I have a son, who was bright, gifted, and struggled to read and do math. After years of searching I found The Gift of Dyslexia. It explained why my son could be so gifted and yet struggle to read and do math. He did a reading correction program when he was 12 and it totally changed his ability to read. His math program followed and it enabled him to do math.
When I was turning 50, my husband asked me what I wanted to do with the rest of my life, it was easy to say that I wanted to become a Davis Dyslexia Facilitator. And the rest is history. It's been an amazing 19 years and I recently earned my Autism and ADHD approach license.
I'm looking forward to continuing to assist neurodivergent individuals in becoming their most successful selves.

My 15-year-old daughter worked with Jean for a week-long intensive in December. When my very young daughter had delayed speech & reading that was very slow to emerge, I was working for Pearson Clinical Assessment. Thus, this child has had excellent access to the most thorough assessments and interventions available. We are super grateful for The Wilson Method, Lindamood Bell, and Orton-Gillingham, but the Davis Approach has helped so much more than phonics ever did. My teenager loves working with Jean, who she thinks is "super cool." Not only has the Davis Approach significantly improved reading, writing and spelling skills ("academics") but there has also been a huge improvement in life skills - understanding how her own brain works, emotional regulation, etc. Cannot recommend Jean highly enough. If you think you might be interested in working with her, it is well worth it to go for an initial assessment to get clear on the path forward.
Jean Moser has worked with my son on and off for over a year now. The Davis Method has been a perfect fit for him, and has worked wonders for his confidence, reading, and math skills. The difference in his reading fluency is enormous. Jean understands well how my son's brain operates, she recognizes his gifts, and works from his strengths. She has helped me understand my amazing son better. He looks forward to working with Jean, and we have seen such growth in him since beginning her programs. She encourages him and graciously does not allow him to wallow in negative self-talk when something is hard for him. Last year one of my hopes for our son was that he would grow in confidence as a reader. After he completed the Davis Dyslexia Correction program with Jean I met with his teacher. Unsolicited, his teacher told me that she noticed he had high confidence, knew how to persevere through difficult school work, and was not afraid of failure. Much of this is a result of Jean's work with him, and I continue to be grateful for her presence in his life and for the ways she uses her gifts to help children and adults overcome their academic challenges.
The Davis Dyslexia Correction Program and Jean Moser in particular have been miraculous (that's not an exaggeration) in lives of my 3 sons. She's been able to help us with everything from reading and math to focusing and controlling anger. Jean's insight, patience, and experience are invaluable, and I would recommend her to anyone who wants to help people realize the full potential of their abilities in a world that doesn't always recognize them!
I was very thankful to find Jean and the Davis method. My son has ADHD, dyslexia and a speech impediment. School is a challenge and COVID made it even more challenging. He was going into 2nd grade not able to read. He did Jean’s program at the beginning of the school year and he is now reading! He is not on grade level YET but he is light years ahead of where he was and hopefully he will be on or above grade level soon. My son loves working with Jean. The Davis method has also helps with my son’s emotional regulation. I am extremely thank for Jean and her program!
Learning Tools for Dyslexia has worked wonders for my kids. My son has struggled with reading for years and writing was awful! Meeting with Mrs. Jean for the evaluation showed a positive change in his confidence. We went back to complete the program and we have seen such a huge improvement with reading and writing.
While completing the program with my son, I started to wonder if the program would help my daughter who didn’t sow “typical signs of Dyslexia, but had to work really hard to just be average. We did the evaluation and decided to move forward with the program as well. She is now excelling! My youngest child is not old enough for the program so we are starting him with the Davis Method young Learners kit!
We have been so happy with our experience I can’t stop telling everyone about it! Jean is amazing and really connects with the kids. She makes everyone comfortable.
