Our vision

Transforming learning and lives

Davis is an international organization dedicated to empowering struggling neurodivergent individuals of all ages by transforming their learning abilities and interactions in a life-changing way.

Our vision is for all people who think and learn differently to realize their true potential.

We do this by sharing:

  • Davis’s unique insights into the root cause of both the perceptual gifts and the challenges that accompany neurodivergent thinking
  • Our proven strength-based tools and effective learning strategies facilitated in our practical and fun programs and training workshops.

Whether an adult or a child with dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyspraxia, ADHD, executive function difficulties or autism, we are experts who understand neurodiversity ‘from the inside’.

We provide the answers, dedicated support, and encouragement for you to finally understand exactly what has been holding you back – and how you can break through those barriers for good.

Vision

Our vision is for all people who think and learn differently to realize their true potential.

Mission

We empower struggling neurodivergent individuals of all ages by transforming their learning abilities and interactions in a life-changing way.

Our purpose

We’re here to transform learning and life experiences for individuals of all ages who experience the following difficulties:

  • Autism
  • ADHD
  • Dyscalculia
  • Dysgraphia
  • Dyslexia
  • Dyspraxia
  • Executive function difficulties

We also specialize preventing the development of learning difficulties in young learners, both at home and in the classroom, through our programs:

  • Davis Foundations for Reading (for young learners aged 5-7)
  • Davis Learning Strategies in the classroom (K-3)

Davis makes a positive (and lasting) difference every day by enabling the essential connections and conceptual understanding that traditional education systems simply don’t facilitate. Together, we can replace frustration, ‘failure’, and overwhelm with certainty, confidence and unlocked potential.

Our personalized learning programs and strength-based learning methods help children and adults alike unlock their innate potential and quickly progress with learning achievements previously considered impossible.

More than 80,000 adults and children have successfully completed Davis programs since we were founded.

Over 40 years of success

In 1980, Ron Davis made a groundbreaking discovery about the root cause of dyslexia, leading to the creation of the first Davis program. Since then, Davis methods have been transforming learning and lives. Headquartered in San Francisco (US), Davis International was established in 1995 by Ron and his associates, following the publication of his best-selling book: The Gift of Dyslexia.

Today, our specialist services are available in more than 30 languages and over 40 countries worldwide, providing solutions for neurodivergent thinkers as well as resources and training to support parents at home and educators in the classroom.

With a global network of expertly trained, licensed practitioners, we deliver innovative and highly effective programs for clients of all ages – from 5 to 95!

Don’t take our word for it…

“Before my reading program, it was really hard for me to concentrate and read. Now, I can read just about anything! I even use my [Davis] tools to help me with sports! Now that I’ve done a math program, too, I am doing a lot better with my math and moved up a couple of text-books in just one week!”

“The Davis Autism Approach has made a profound difference in my life. Ever since I completed the program, I have been able to gradually emerge from the ‘netherworld’ of autism with a tremendous amount of self-confidence within me.  I have been discovering my essence as an autistic individual and my autism has become a wonderful gift that has compelled me to see the beauty of life.”

When asked about the difference between taking medication for ADHD and Davis methods, the client replied: “the very state of focus – it is the same, but focus after taking the medication – it comes with tension. That is, you are in focus, but you yourself are feeling tense. And the new type of focus, following Davis, is easy and pleasant, without stress!”
