Heidi is a dedicated Davis Facilitator specializing in dyslexia and autism programs, inspired by her personal journey as a mother of a child with dyslexia. In her quest to find answers for her child’s learning difficulties, she discovered solutions that leveraged their unique strengths and relieved the pressures of the classroom environment. Witnessing her child thrive sparked her own transformative journey of learning and growth, one that has continued for decades.
Throughout her career, Heidi has played a pivotal role in the development and implementation of various Davis programs. Her expertise spans across areas, including mathematics, handwriting, reading, and essential life skills, where she skilfully delivers tailored programs that empower individuals to understand their own learning and build the necessary knowledge to overcome challenges.
Following her curiosity, Heidi recently earned a degree in Health and Medical Science with a major in Neuroscience. This academic pursuit allowed her to delve into the mechanics of the Davis Methods and their positive effects on cognitive abilities, particularly in relation to executive function, neuroplasticity and learning processes.
Heidi's unique combination of personal experience and professional knowledge enables her to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those she works with, championing a more inclusive and supportive environment for individuals with dyslexia and autism.
