My journey with Davis began 12 years ago when my daughter was in 5th grade. She had struggled in school for years, and by then, the weight of her struggles had begun to really affect her self-esteem and she was becoming depressed and even experiencing physical illness due to the stress and frustrations of school. We had tried everything-spending tens of thousands of dollars in hopes of finding something that would help her, but nothing did. Then, by the grace of God, we were introduced to a Davis facilitator. Within just 10 minutes of talking to her, my daughter said, "I want to do this." Five days later her life was changed forever (as well as mine). Not only did reading become easier but her self esteem and confidence started to blossom. For us as parents that was priceless.
Witnessing how profoundly the Davis Method impacted her, I felt called to become a facilitator myself. I will always be deeply grateful for what Davis has done-not only for my daughter, but years later, for my son, and the clients I have worked with as well.
The positive impact this had on my daughter led her to also become a Davis facilitator.

My son has become a new person in just 10 days. His confidence has skyrocketed and it has been noticed by other family members. His whole spirit is so much brighter. From the consultation on, I knew that this would be life changing. Spelling and math has been such a giant challenge for him and I felt helpless when we tried method after method with no results expect frustration. When he mastered the alphabet with you so quickly I was shocked! We had the alphabet up on the wall and went over it everyday for YEARS, before I finally gave up. When he mastered math on paper the last day, his smile and beaming eyes is an image I will never forget.
Not only is this method amazing but how you handled each step and each day was perfect. You were supportive but firm and always friendly and easy to work with. My son has worked with other tutors and he has never been willing to continue. Even though he was tired, he told me he wanted to keep going. I am grateful from the bottom of my heart for this week and I am hopeful and excited for the future. Thank you for guiding us through this process and becoming a friend along with way.
