Miriam brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as a licensed Davis facilitator, with a strong focus on supporting neurodivergent students. She graduated from Surrey College as an Education Assistant and has since dedicated her career to understanding and addressing the unique learning needs of individuals on the autism spectrum.
Miriam's journey in education began with specialized training as a Behavior Technician under a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, where she honed her skills in developing effective strategies for supporting individuals with autism. She further enhanced her expertise through specialized training at Hanley FTF Behavior Consulting as a Skills-Based Treatment Behavioral Consultant. This combination of training and hands-on experience equips Miriam with a comprehensive toolkit to support diverse learning needs. Miriam had been working with a student with severe dyslexia, so when she stumbled onto the The Gift of Dyslexia (R) and the Davis Method the program resonated within her and she knew immediately that this was the direction she wanted to go.
What truly sets Miriam apart is her personal journey as a parent navigating learning challenges with her four children. This experience has given her profound personal insight into the struggles and triumphs that families face. She understands the importance of creating a supportive environment where individuals can thrive, and she is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their full potential and lifelong success.
Miriam is committed to meeting her clients where they are, both geographically and emotionally. She is willing to travel throughout the province of British Columbia, Canada, to provide personalized support and guidance. If you’re looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable partner in your journey, Miriam would be honored to help you unlock your potential.
