As a dedicated Education Assistant, Behavior Interventionist, and Behaviour Technician with a combined four years of targeted behavioral experience—and the past seven years supporting students within the local public school district—Miriam had built a strong career helping neurodivergent learners thrive. She already understood the deep complexities of diverse learning needs through her own journey as a homeschooling parent for seven years where she navigated learning challenges with her own four children who experience severe dyslexia and ADHD. When Miriam stumbled upon The Gift of Dyslexia and the Davis Method (R) it resonated instantly and completely transformed her approach to working with these students. It provided the exact answers and breakthroughs she had been looking for. Inspired by the results, Miriam completed her training to become a licensed Davis Facilitator.
Miriam feels strongly that there is no career more meaningful than helping clients overcome learning obstacles. Combining her extensive educational and behavioral background with her deep personal insight as a parent, she creates a supportive, empowering environment where families can succeed.
Operating out of Surrey, she offers in-office support to Surrey and its surrounding areas including Delta, Surrey, South Surrey/White Rock, Langley and throughout the Lower Mainland. In addition, she offers mobile support across British Columbia to work both face-to-face and online to facilitate programs throughout British Columbia to meet families where they are, as well as welcomes her American neighbours from Northern Washington state.
Miriam is dedicated to giving neurodivergent learners the tools they need to reach their goals. She never ceases to be amazed at how empowering Davis programs truly are!
