I am a Psychologist based in Thessaloniki, Greece. I am a graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki majoring in Social and Clinical Psychology. From the first years of my studies I acquired a very strong interest in the challenges and problems that children and adults face in the process of learning within the educational environment and outside it. I was also very interested in the effects of learning difficulties on the psychological part of the individual as well as the psychological mechanisms that accompany these issues.
After reading the book 'The Gift of Dyslexia' by Ron Davis I knew this was what I wanted to pursue professionally. So I specialized in learning differences and the application of the Davis methods (Dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia) in England and the Netherlands. In addition, I am specialized in Art Psychotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP Practitioner). I continue to keep up-to-date, attend scientific seminars, workshops and conferences and train in Greece and abroad.
I chose to be certified and apply Davis methods because they are different from any other method, unique, based on creativity, effective and made by a neurodivergent person, Ron Davis, who is genuinely addressed to neurodivergent people. I have been a Davis Facilitator since 2003 and I have helped and changed the lives of uncountable children (from 5 years old), teenagers, adults and elder people.
I have volunteered my services at the Child Psychiatry Department of the “Hippocrates” Hospital of Thessaloniki, at the “P. Sakellaropoulos” Society of Social Psychiatry, the “Chariseos” Nursing Home and other structures. I also provided Art Psychotherapy sessions at the center for people with disabilities "Sotir".
I created Dyslexia Treatment to provide my services, as a consultant and companion, to people of all ages (from 5 to overage) with learning issues and to bring out all their unique, gifted abilities. Also, to contribute to the quality of their lives and to their psychological well-being.

Yannis was diagnosed with adhd and dyslexia. When he started the program with Zoe Deliakidou he was 9 years old and almost within a year everyone around him saw him changing and evolving. In just a few hours of our meetings, I was able to see and recognize how special I am. The "tools" you gave me helped me a lot in perceiving the environment and reality correctly and now I am in the stage of improving my spelling.

When I started the program I was desperate because I had ended up studying Nutrition at University for seven years, when I was supposed to have completed my studies in 4 years and having only passed ten of the fifty-seven courses I was supposed to take. I was so disappointed in myself and the school that I wanted to quit my studies.

With the method of orientation I managed to focus. This was a feat for me because it used to be a huge challenge. This helped me not only in reading but it generally made my life easier, because now I am able to understand what I hear and read.
By practicing the reading exercises and mastering the trigger words every day, I was able to read correctly and quickly. So now I don't have to be ashamed of my reading. Overall since I started the program I feel like my life has changed. It is easier for me to express myself, write correctly, without thousands of spelling mistakes, concentrate and memorize.

I don't like reading but since I was little I "had" to read! With 2 university degrees I learned early on to do things because I had to! A few years ago I decided to "want" and started with what I consider most important for a person's development, which is reading! I found that while I was reading I couldn't remember what the previous page said! As you can understand, I left the books in the middle or where I could hardly reach! But I wanted!
