About Yuliana

Yuliana is a Davis Autism Approach and Concepts for Life Facilitator, who also has completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Special Education and Autism Biomedical Mastery Course.
As the mother of Jason, a young autistic adult, Yuliana’s journey began with a deeply personal goal: to help her son better understand himself, develop greater independence, and participate more fully in life.
Over the years, she explored and experienced a wide range of programs and approaches. Each offered valuable support in different ways, yet she continued to feel that something essential was missing—an approach that could help her son develop a deeper understanding of himself, navigate the world with greater confidence, and learn to regulate himself from within, rather than relying on others to manage his behavior.
Yuliana believes that one of the greatest responsibilities parents have, is to prepare their children for a future in which they can live as independently and meaningfully as possible. We cannot always be there to guide, support, or care for our children, and this is especially important when raising a neurodivergent child.
Three years ago, Yuliana discovered the Davis Method and decided to attend a workshop to learn more about the approach. After completing her first workshop, she recognized something she had been searching for—the missing piece that could potentially help her son to understand this typical world better. This experience inspired her to become a Davis facilitator, first to support her own son, and later to help other neurodivergent individuals better understand themselves and participate more fully in the lives they choose to lead.
For more than 20 years, Yuliana has continued to expand her knowledge through professional training, workshops, and learning across a variety of approaches related to autism and neurodiversity. Alongside her work with individuals, she also coaches, mentors, and educates parents. She believes that parents need knowledge, understanding, and the confidence to make informed decisions about their child’s development and future. After all, who knows a child better than their own parents and family?
As a parent of a child with additional support needs, Yuliana’s philosophy is centered on “Enabling and Nurturing Autism”—providing neurodivergent individuals with the tools, knowledge, and opportunities they need to adapt, navigate life, and be able to live a meaningful life on their own terms.
Through the Davis Autism Approach, Yuliana sees her role (together with parents) as helping to plant the Seeds of Genius, nurture those seeds, and create the conditions for each individual to grow into the person they choose to become.
Rather than trying to shape a person into who others want them to be, she believes we should support them in discovering and developing their own identity, strengths, interests, and potential.
It is their life. As neurodivergent individuals, they deserve respect, choice, opportunity, and the freedom to become their own selves.
Yuliana is committed to walking alongside individuals and families on this journey—helping them move beyond simply managing autism toward enabling individuals to understand themselves, develop their abilities, and participate meaningfully in the life they choose.
With limited availability to different type of therapy programs in her home country, she feels deeply honored to bring the Davis Methods to Indonesia and neighboring communities, with the hope of making these valuable approaches more accessible to those who may benefit from them.
Yuliana is fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
