A NZ trained teacher, Rochelle has had experience working in the school classroom with learners, as well as in her private practice since 2006.
She first came across Davis Methods when working in adult literacy and numeracy. These were a group of incredibly smart learners, but they struggled with learning to read/write/spell or do math easily. The disparity just didn't make sense.
Fast forward a few months and Rochelle attended her first Davis Methods Workshop with Ronald Davis himself. It all made so much sense now, and this inspired Rochelle to retrain as a Davis Facilitator.
Licensed since 2006, Rochelle has worked with several Dyslexia, Math and Attention Mastery clients, ranging in age from 5 - 65 years of age. She is also a Davis Learning Strategies Presenter, presenting workshops to teachers, so they can implement Davis Methods class wide in our Yr1-4 classrooms.
Rochelle has a real passion for children and adults having the skills and ability to reach their actual potential. Davis Methods is a strength based approach that gives learners this opportunity in a nurturing, supportive and creative way.
