Prior to becoming a licensed Davis Facilitator, Rhonda spent 15 years teaching in both public and private schools. Her steadfast dedication to ensuring the success of all students eventually led her to discover the groundbreaking work of Ron Davis. Inspired by Davis’s book, ‘The Gift of Dyslexia,’ which portrayed dyslexia in a positive light for the first time, Rhonda eagerly pursued the Davis technique. In 2001, she became a licensed Davis Dyslexia Correction Facilitator, equipped to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those with dyslexia.
She has successfully helped individuals of all ages, from 6 to 70, unlock their true potential. Rhonda thrives on watching people transform during week-long one-on-one training sessions. Her lifelong desire to help others succeed is fulfilled through the Davis Method, which empowers individuals to achieve their goals. She loves witnessing the rapid growth in confidence her clients experience. Rhonda believes it is a privilege to share the Davis Method and change lives one individual at a time.
Rhonda loves sharing the reading program with people of all ages. While she always believed helping young children learn to read was her passion, she discovered a true love for helping learners of all ages read and enjoy books through the Davis Method. The math program is also a joy to share, as Rhonda personally benefited from parts of it during her training. Ron Davis's clay-based visual approach helped her understand math fundamentals for the first time. She loves sharing the excitement of mathematical understanding.
Rhonda offers both in-person and virtual tutoring sessions. Virtual tutoring is ideal for those unable to travel or seeking more flexible scheduling with additional one-on-one time. Each virtual session is tailored to individual needs. In-person tutoring is a great alternative when virtual is not the best option.
Rhonda is committed to empowering individuals to become confident, self-directed learners. She firmly believes that the interactive, hands-on approach of the Davis Program has the power to transform education, nurturing creativity, problem-solving abilities, and an unwavering love for learning.
Rhonda worked with clients in East Texas from 2001 to 2018 before relocating to the DFW area. She continues to share her passion for the Davis Program and has trained teachers to implement Davis Learning Strategies to help all students learn and thrive.
