Priti Venkatesan is employed as the Unit Head of Indigo Heartful Kids, the inclusive branch of Heartfulness International School(formerly known as LMOIS), Chennai (INDIA). She was licensed as a Davis® Facilitator in 2014. She founded the “Indigo” unit in the school to support the learning of struggling learners and those with SLD using Davis Learning Strategies. Since then the school has successfully trained more than 1500 students in the art of learning independently. Apart from being a Davis Facilitator, Priti is also a licensed Neuro-linguistic Program Practitioner and Past Life Regression Therapist. She has trained almost 200 teachers in India and abroad in Davis Learning Strategies and mentored them in taking these strategies into the classrooms. Her areas of expertise include counseling for learning and mental health issues, curriculum designing, assessments to assess the learning issues in children and teacher training. She believes that all children can learn and optimize their potential if they are provided a loving, nurturing environment in which their learning needs are met.
