Lindsay Hodge is passionate about learning, reading, and writing. She is a committed, lifelong learner, who has studied many methods for effective reading instruction. She came to the Davis Methods while seeking effective solutions for her children.
Lindsay has a talent for meeting children where they are, and empowering them to reach their full potential. Clear and thorough communications are a hallmark of Lindsay's teaching style. Adults, teens and children alike will feel comfortable working with her. She really tries to understand and meet her client's needs.
In addition to providing Davis Method Programs, Lindsay offers specialized tutoring in spelling, writing, and public speaking. Structured Word Inquiry, and Real Spelling methods address English spelling in a robust and meaningful way. Lindsay prefers to use these methods to enhance her instruction.
Lindsay provides programs from her home, or yours, in a professional, non-clinical, low-pressure, nurturing environment. Accommodations can be provided, as she and her husband host a short-term rental on their property. Alternatively, she can provide personalized programs in your home virtually, or in person. She is willing to travel any distance, provided you pay mileage and a low per diem fee to cover food and lodging.
Lindsay's attention to detail, and caring personality are the reasons her programs are so successful.
