I guide you to understand and master your learning style, how to use your talent of picture thinking, and how to take control of your ability to focus. Davis offers a full understanding of dyslexia and how best to help children and adults utilise their special talents, achieve their full potential and be masters of their own learning. I am here to help change the way we look at Dyslexia, Autism and ADD. Many of the old ways and systems of education and dealing with what are termed ‘learning disabilities’ are no longer serving us and our children. Most are not holistic and look at treating the symptoms rather than the cause. It is possible for learning to be the effortless flow that is right for you.
My own two children have differing characteristics of dyslexia so I have first hand experience of navigating them through both mainstream education and homeschooling. In 2020, myself and 5 other families got together to set up an alternative home education project, mainly for children who for varying reasons were not able to attend a mainstream school.

“Kirstie has opened a new world for my son with the Davis Program. Within days of working with Kirstie he has flourished; gaining confidence in his academic ability. Spelling and understanding words and grammar he never thought possible. Kirstie works in a calm, professional and friendly manner, being emotionally supportive and in tune with my son’s needs. This meant my son was instantly able to work in a focused way for hours – which in the school environment is a struggle for him. As a mother the best part is seeing my son have a renewed sense of self-belief, and that I now know how to help him continue to move forwards.” Alex, parent
“Kirstie is very easy to bond with, I found her friendly and kind. My written vocabulary has doubled and I feel more confident to be in a classroom. I also understand more about my brain and dyslexia.” Orion, age 11
"Kirstie is a wonderful teacher. She was very gentle and patient with my daughter and put absolutely no pressure on her throughout the course. My daughter and I had come to an impasse with regards to her reading, she found the whole thing so hard and we were both getting quite stressed and emotional about the whole thing. Kirstie has a lovely quiet gentle nature and my girl was able to spend focused hours with her with no stress. Kirstie has given her a new way of looking at reading and special tools to help her when she gets into difficulties. Her reading has hugely improved since the course and she is willing to put time each day into reading practice now, which would have been unheard of before Kirstie's tuition. I would highly recommend Kirstie to anyone who is struggling to help a dyslexic child with their reading. She is professional, gentle, patient and good at what she does!" Arisha, parent
"My unfocused, emotionally sensitive 9 yr old son who dislikes any kind of 'school work' and has completely illegible handwriting was able to focus and complete the program. He found it fun and noticed an improvement in himself with reading. His school report showed his reading and writing went up a grade by the following term." K, parent
"It was really fun working with you today". (End of day 3 of program) Delilah, age 9
