Joanna’s journey to becoming a Davis Facilitator began with a deep passion for helping people improve their well-being. Having enjoyed a fulfilling 20-year career in healthcare, she has always loved serving others and found immense reward in helping individuals make positive changes in their lives.
Over the years, her experience has taught her how significantly mental health and a sense of self-worth impact every other area of life. These factors influence not only physical health but also how readily individuals participate in the world and pursue their dreams.
A pivotal moment in her journey occurred when she witnessed her 12-year-old nephew struggling with literacy and the negative impact it had on his emotional well-being and confidence. She realized the immense struggle and hard work required by individuals with learning differences when they lack proper support. This understanding was further deepened by reflecting on her brother's lifelong challenges due to undiagnosed ADHD and dyslexia, which were only identified in his mid-40s. These personal experiences have strengthened her commitment to supporting others on their journey to self-discovery and success.
As a Davis Facilitator, Joanna is dedicated to helping neurodivergent individuals discover their innate gifts and develop healthy self-esteem and self-confidence for a fulfilling and balanced life. She guides them in using their unique learning styles, empowering them to achieve their academic and life goals. She loves the Davis method for its strong focus on the foundational building blocks of literacy and numeracy and its highly individualized and multisensory approach to learning, which is perfectly suited for visual learners.
In her free time, she finds joy and rejuvenation in nature and with animals. Biking, traveling, and staying active are integral parts of her life, providing a balanced approach to her own wellness and bringing vitality and excitement to her work with clients. Driven by a passion for making a positive impact, she aims to create an environment where everyone feels included and thrives.
Joanna lives in New Jersey and offers both in-person and online programs, including Mastery for Dyslexia, Mastery for Attention, Mastery for Math, and the Foundations for Reading program.

Joanna did a great job in facilitating the ADD program for my 12 year old son. It was really awesome to see how how she introduced all these valuable tools that has already started helping him focus more especially at school. We have already started getting such valuable feedback from his teachers in school as to how he’s able to focus better. Mastering the concepts with clay has been really fascinating to watch. I look forward to continue to see these excellent benefits of the Davis ADD program. Thank you Joanna for all your hard work and efforts in working with my son. -Daphne, Fl.
