As a mother of five, including one son with autism, Haylie has spent more than 25 years walking the journey that many families and individuals know so well: navigating challenges, celebrating progress, and learning to embrace neurodiverse ways of thinking and being. As she struggled to help her son that has autism and her daughter that had dyslexia, she learned about Davis programs. That experience inspired her to become a Licensed Davis Autism Approach Facilitator, where she helps both individuals with autism and families discover practical, effective tools for building awareness, independence, and communication and relationship skills.
She is currently completing her final year for her bachelor’s degree at BYU-Idaho, where she has earned a certification in Marriage, Family, and Human Relations, and is currently working on a certification in Parent and Family Education. Her approach combines professional training with lived experience to create a warm, supportive environment where growth feels safe and empowering.
Outside of her work, she enjoys cooking, decorating, graphic design, escape rooms, puzzles, and playing volleyball. She loves all activities that keep her creative, energized, and inspired.
One of Haylie's strengths is her creativity and variety of experiences that she helps her clients have. She is warm and focuses on each client's interests and incorporates them into her facilitation. Whether you are a parent seeking guidance or an adult on the spectrum wanting to better understand your own mind and potential, she is here to support, encourage, and facilitate your progress. We had such an amazing experience! Haylie made every session fun and personal to my son's interests, always brings so much positivity and enthusiasm. It made a huge difference—he is more coordinated, understands his own and others’ feelings better, and is more social! We are so grateful for this program!

My son Brandon is 19 years old and we have been doing autism and other programs since he was 2 years old. It has been so great working with Haylie over the last several months. She is great at communicating what the plan is and what he will be working on each day. The program is amazing. We started noticing big changes from listening to the “ting” sound before we started meeting regularly with Haylie. Some of this was great and some of this was a bit of a challenge because he wasn’t sure what to do with all the things he had never really paid attention to before. When we started our regular appointments, everything came together and Brandon made big steps forward in understanding basic parts of life that sometimes our kiddos with autism don’t pick up all the way. The program is a great combination of learning and play. The activities are great for making the concepts apply to everyday life and in helping my son understand relationships.

The autism program I did was inspiring and fun! I loved doing lessons and the fun exploring activities. Haylie is kind and made me feel important and smart. I learned more about my body and mind and it helped me socially too. I learned to be more independent and responsible so I can follow my dreams. I can think more clearly and have my own opinions. Thank goodness for this program!
-Dallen (Completed Autism Approach program, adult)
My daughter did a program with Haylie this past summer. She struggled in school with various diagnoses. Although her learning disabilities do not include autism, the program really helped her. Some things we noticed after the program were things like; she started doing things more independently, was more creative and imaginative, she is better expressing her emotions, and her attention and focus in school have improved. We have also seen things like better coordination, more flexibility in thinking, and improvement in her academics.
