Bev is a mom of seven, three of whom are dyslexic. She knows first-hand the frustration of watching your very bright child struggle needlessly. Davis was the missing piece of the puzzle for her family, so she decided to become a facilitator herself. Bev began helping unique learners with the Davis approach in 2012. She considers it a privilege to be invited to participate with families and their loved ones as they acquire the skills to thrive rather than merely survive. She loves showing a dyslexic thinker how to use their unique way of viewing the world to their advantage and helping them to recognize that they aren’t broken!
Bev also brings three decades of experience homeschooling her kids to the table and well understands the daily challenges of an atypical learner. She consults with parents to develop a strategy to help their children at home. She is also a well-received speaker at education conferences. As an avid reader herself, Bev loves to encourage others to enjoy the benefits of a lifetime of reading.

Even knowing our friend's success, we were skeptical that a five-day program could 'undo' years of dyslexia. After only the first day with Bev/Davis program, Leah was crying happy tears because she could read, say and understand the alphabet for the first time in her life! The other skills she learned created immediate results in her comprehension and her ability to calm her exam anxiety and help her focus on demand.
