Joanna’s journey to becoming a Davis® Facilitator began with a deep passion for helping children and adults improve their well-being and achieve their full potential.
Alongside her work as a Licensed Davis Facilitator, she brings 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, which has enriched her Davis work by deepening her understanding of the neurological and developmental processes that shape both physical and cognitive functions. This background allows her to provide unique and meaningful support to neurodivergent learners.
Through her own personal journey, she came to understand how deeply self-esteem shapes every aspect of our lives—how we engage with the world and pursue our dreams. She believes that developing strong literacy skills is a powerful part of self-discovery, helping individuals build a positive self-image and move confidently toward their goals.
Her path to becoming a Davis Facilitator is also a personal one. Her brother lived with undiagnosed dyslexia and ADHD until adulthood, and reflecting on the challenges he faced due to a lack of awareness and support has deeply shaped her mission. She is dedicated to ensuring that neurodivergent learners receive the understanding, tools, and encouragement they need to thrive—not only academically, but also in their creativity, sense of worth, and understanding of the value they bring to the world.
Today, as a Licensed Davis® Facilitator, she feels privileged to offer the knowledge and tools to support individuals with learning differences. She believes that the Davis® Method provides a unique and transformative approach to dyslexia and ADHD—one that empowers learners by building on their strengths and helping them develop independence and lasting confidence in their abilities.
Joanna deeply values the fundamental belief of the Davis approach that dyslexia is a gift, not a deficit. This approach encourages learners to embrace their unique thinking style while equipping them with the tools that make learning effective, meaningful, and enjoyable.
For her own wellness, she loves spending time outdoors and with animals. She enjoys hiking, biking, practicing yoga, and meditation. In her work with clients, she strives to create an environment in which everyone feels respected, valued, and supported. Joanna lives in New Jersey and offers both in-person and online programs, including Mastery for Dyslexia, Mastery for Attention, Mastery for Math, and the Foundations for Reading program.

Joanna did a great job in facilitating the ADD program for my 12 year old son. It was really awesome to see how how she introduced all these valuable tools that has already started helping him focus more especially at school. We have already started getting such valuable feedback from his teachers in school as to how he’s able to focus better. Mastering the concepts with clay has been really fascinating to watch. I look forward to continue to see these excellent benefits of the Davis ADD program. Thank you Joanna for all your hard work and efforts in working with my son.

I just wanted to say a massive thanks to Joanna, who conducted Davis Dyslexia Correction program and Davis Math program with Julia in spring of 2024. You have the passion for the work and Julia will benefit immensely from the instructions you provided. She enjoyed playing with clay and Koosh balls, making letters and symbols, and going through the reasoning process to help her learn better as a dyslexic and help her succeed. Thank you for your patience and commitment!
