Joanna's journey to becoming a Davis Facilitator began with a deep passion for helping people improve their well-being, becoming the best version of themselves, and reaching their full potential.
Through her own personal journey, she discovered how much our self-esteem shapes every aspect of our lives. It determines how we engage with the world and how readily we pursue our dreams. She believes that development of strong literacy skills plays a crucial role in this process of self-discovery, creation of a positive self-image and ultimately reaching one's goals.
Joanna has a younger brother who has dyslexia and ADHD, but his learning difference was not discovered until adulthood. She watched him accomplish many great things in life, but wonders how much easier his life journey could have been, has he received the proper support earlier on, so his talents could have been nurtured more fully.
Her wish is for every child and adult to receive the support and encouragement necessary, not only to excel academically, but also to nurture one's creativity, recognize one's value, and build a healthy sense of self-worth.
Today, as a Davis® Facilitator, she feels privileged to have the knowledge to be able to support individuals with learning differences. She believes that the Davis® method offers a very unique approach, which is not only highly effective, but also very empowering for the neurodivergent learners. Showcasing their innate strengths and talents, and helping them build confidence in their own abilities.
She loves that with the Davis® method, dyslexia is viewed as a gift, not a deficit, and learners are encouraged to appreciate and embrace their unique thinking styles and take control of their learning experience. Learning becomes engaging and enjoyable, leading to transformative, lifelong results.
For her own wellness, she spends her free time with animals and in nature. She enjoys hiking, riding her bike, yoga, and meditation. In her work with clients she strives to create an environment in which everyone feels included and thrives. Joanna lives in New Jersey and offers both in-person and online programs, including Mastery for Dyslexia, Mastery for Attention, Mastery for Math, and the Foundations for Reading program.

Joanna did a great job in facilitating the ADD program for my 12 year old son. It was really awesome to see how how she introduced all these valuable tools that has already started helping him focus more especially at school. We have already started getting such valuable feedback from his teachers in school as to how he’s able to focus better. Mastering the concepts with clay has been really fascinating to watch. I look forward to continue to see these excellent benefits of the Davis ADD program. Thank you Joanna for all your hard work and efforts in working with my son. -Daphne, Fl.
