“By my son’s 4th grade year, I was ready to give up on him. I didn’t think he would ever learn to read fluently, let alone read for fun. I had tried everything,” Hodge said, “No matter how much the curriculum promised ‘learning without tears’ or ‘success’ very little of what we did made any difference, and there were always tears. It was a struggle and it was getting worse. That was when I saw an advertisement for a local Davis Facilitator. I scheduled an assessment with her and from that point forward, I had hope again!”
Lindsay Hodge is passionate about learning, reading, and writing. She came to the Davis Methods while seeking effective solutions for her children. “My son is willing to learn, but becomes quickly overwhelmed and frustrated at the mental work he is asked to do. With Lindsay, he excelled! What makes Lindsay unique is that she is able to stop, think, and gain inspiration for how to move through a difficult situation. This ability greatly improved my son’s learning experience.”

"My biggest goal was learning how to not space out all the time. When my teachers would talk it was like they were speaking another language. After my program, I feel like I am in control of my attention. I feel like I have more control over my self."

"My son's “personality”… it has EXPLODED... He is SO SPUNKY! I’m honestly so thrilled though because this means he’s present! We feel like we got our kid back! The scary thing is that I didn’t realize how much he was “out of it” until after doing this program with you."

Parent of Mastery for Dyslexia Client, age 9
“After my reading program with Lindsay I knew that I had to go back for a math program. After my math program with Lindsay, I am able to break down the steps better. Before it seemed like it was all one big step and I would miss things, but now I can break things down better. I can stay more focused. Reading is easier, math is easier, and my balance is better, too."

"I am so grateful for Lindsay's attention to what I needed. I am more aware of my energy level, and before I start reading I am able to find my point so I can focus better on what I'm doing. I am able to read better with fewer mistakes and with less stress."
