Are you an educator or therapist facing the challenge of a student eager to learn but struggling with conventional methods? Perhaps you’re feeling helpless as those tried-and-tested techniques fail to resonate with that pupil.
Or are you a parent or grandparent navigating the complexities of dyslexia, seeking solutions amidst general recommendations and partial successes? Despite efforts from teachers and personal research, do genuine solutions seem elusive, leaving you feeling worried?
Or perhaps you’re considering a career change towards dyslexia empowerment, aiming to leave a lasting impact on the lives of struggling learners. Picture the future where your contributions lead to countless individuals leading successful lives, and recognize the significant difference you made.
If any of these are you, read on.
The Davis® Gift of Dyslexia Workshop takes you on a hands-on journey through the Davis methods for Dyslexia, as described in the book The Gift of Dyslexia.
Join us either in person or online to gain deep insights and practical skills. This workshop will help you understand the root causes and master effective strategies to support your loved ones with their reading difficulties.
By the end of the workshop, while not yet an expert, you’ll possess the understanding and tools to guide those you support through the Davis® Mastery for Dyslexia program, enabling them to understand and overcome their reading challenges.
This intensive five-day workshop will enable you to:
During this five-day workshop, you’ll dive into the Davis® methods in a group setting. With limited group size to ensure the highest quality of training, you’ll explore the main Davis® Dyslexia procedures through clear explanations, engaging demonstrations, Q&A sessions, and hands-on individual and pair-work practice using our signature clay modeling approach.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have gained a solid understanding of how Davis works and why it’s so effective. Equipped with this knowledge, you’ll be ready to implement these transformative methods to support your students or loved ones in thriving.
This workshop is open to all adults interested in better supporting dyslexic thinkers in their care. It is especially recommended for parents, tutors, teachers and therapists, as well as individuals interested in pursuing licensing as a Davis® Facilitator.
This course does not include certification or licensing for commercial use of the Davis brand and trademarks; such use requires extensive additional training. Please see our Careers Page for more information on how to become a licensed Davis® Facilitator.

The Gift of Dyslexia Workshop serves as an invaluable, standalone introduction to understanding and helping individuals with Dyslexia using the Davis® approach. However, if you’re considering a career focused on supporting neurodivergent thinkers, this workshop also serves as the first stage of the Davis® Facilitator Training.
Designed for group participation, you can attend the Gift of Dyslexia Workshop either in person or online, and choose from various locations, time zones, and languages worldwide.
Our in-person workshop is an immersive, enjoyable, and altogether unforgettable experience.
Alongside like-minded individuals and in a fun and supportive environment, you will experience first-hand how the Davis tools and techniques work. You’ll take home a whole new understanding of neurodivergent thinking and learning, as well as actionable new skills for use in your own life and in supporting your student or loved one.
The online format is an equally stimulating and enjoyable learning experience. This is no dry webinar. We employ a host of creative innovations to ensure the same dynamic, social, hands-on experience that you would expect from any Davis methods workshop. Features of the online workshop experience include:
The workshop is spread across five consecutive days (30 hours). This applies to both the in-person and online formats.
