Joanna is a Licensed Davis® Facilitator with a passion for helping children and adults strengthen their confidence, well-being and ability to reach their full potential.
Her path to becoming a Davis facilitator is a personal one. Her brother lived with undiagnosed dyslexia and ADHD until adulthood, and reflecting on the challenges he faced due to a lack of awareness and support has deeply shaped her mission. She is dedicated to ensuring that neurodivergent learners receive the understanding, tools, and encouragement they need to thrive - not only academically, but also in their creativity, sense of identity, and self-worth.
Joanna also brings 20 years of experience in the healthcare field as a physical therapy professional, giving her a strong foundation in both physical and cognitive development. This background allows her to offer neurodivergent learners an even deeper level of meaningful support and understanding.
As a Davis facilitator, she feels truly privileged to guide learners using tools and insights that help them gain confidence in their abilities. The Davis® method inspires her with its unique and effective approach to dyslexia and ADHD. By building on each learner's natural strengths, it empowers them to take responsibility for their own thinking processes and learning.
At the heart of the Davis philosophy is the belief that dyslexia is not a deficit - it's a gift. This perspective resonates deeply with Joanna, especially through the lens of her brother's journey and his unique talents. With the right support and tools, every learner can navigate challenges and unlock their full potential.
Outside of Joanna's professional work, she really enjoys spending time outdoors and connecting with animals. She finds wellness through hiking, biking, yoga, and meditation. In every client relationship, Joanna strives to create a space where individuals feel respected, supported and empowered. Joanna offers Davis programs online and in-person in New Jersey.

Joanna did a great job in facilitating the ADD program for my 12 year old son. It was really awesome to see how how she introduced all these valuable tools that has already started helping him focus more especially at school. We have already started getting such valuable feedback from his teachers in school as to how he’s able to focus better. Mastering the concepts with clay has been really fascinating to watch. I just wanted to say a massive thanks to Joanna, who conducted Davis Dyslexia Correction program and Davis Math program with Julia in spring of 2024. You have the passion for the work and Julia will benefit immensely from the instructions you provided. She enjoyed playing with clay and Koosh balls, making letters and symbols, and going through the reasoning process to help her learn better as a dyslexic and help her succeed.
