She has always had a passion for teaching. She completed her Education Degree with a Masters in Reading Education. Lesli taught 5th grade for 19 years at Dennison Elementary in Lakewood, Colorado. She worked with students every year who were bright and curious, but had difficulty with reading, spelling, and math. Approaching retirement, Lesli decided to pursue being a facilitator of the Davis Dyslexia Correction\u00ae Program. She reached her goal in 2020 when she was certified by Davis Dyslexia Association International and launched Mastermind Learning Solutions<\/b>.\n

\nAs a mother and teacher Lesli has worked with dyslexic children for over 25 years. She found the book The Gift of Dyslexia<\/i> by Ron Davis when searching for a way to help her son. It answered so many of their questions, and she began to work through it with her son with encouraging results. She didn't know about finding a facilitator. A few years later her great niece was diagnosed with dyslexia, and her mother found a Davis\u00ae facilitator. The results were amazing. As Lesli taught school and had students with dyslexia, her goal was to help them see their gifts, not their disability. Her greatest desire is to bring this program to as many as possible to help them move forward with confidence. Since becoming a Davis\u00ae facilitator, Lesli has had the privilege of working with children, teens, and adults who all had varying goals and desires. Seeing each of them succeed has been a true joy. She counts it a blessing to be able to work with you and\/or your child.\n
