About Gabriella

My name is Gabriella Cápec, and I am a certified Davis Dyslexia Facilitator, medical doctor, and university lecturer with over two decades of experience in medicine, psychology, and education. My passion lies in helping individuals discover their unique learning potential and guiding them toward confidence and success using the Davis® methods.

I earned my Master’s degree in General Medicine from Uzhhorod National University (Ukraine) in 2003, followed by postgraduate specialization in Pediatrics and Practical Psychology. My scientific career led me to complete a PhD-equivalent degree (Candidate of Biological Sciences) in 2011.

My journey toward becoming a Davis Dyslexia Facilitator began from a deep curiosity about the brain, learning processes, and the human capacity for adaptation. During my Davis Dyslexia Association training (2020–2021), I discovered how effectively the Davis® approach empowers people with dyslexia, ADHD, or learning differences to transform frustration into clarity and self-assurance.

In addition to my Davis work, I am trained in crisis intervention (ASSYST method), EMDR, and RTM (Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories), allowing me to support clients with emotional and stress-related challenges that often accompany learning difficulties. My approach integrates science, empathy, and practical tools for long-lasting change.

As a multilingual professional (Hungarian, Ukrainian, Russian, Czech, and English), I work with both children and adults from diverse backgrounds. My mission is to help each person recognize that thinking differently is not a limitation—it is a strength.
