About Brenda

Brenda is an experienced education professional with over four decades of working with both children and adults. Throughout her career, she has developed a deep interest in neurodiversity and in finding approaches that truly support individual ways of thinking and learning.
While searching for effective alternatives to traditional phonics based instruction, Brenda discovered the Davis methods. After reading The Gift of Dyslexia, she immediately recognised the approach as a powerful reflection of the learners she had supported throughout her career. The concepts resonated strongly with her professional experience, and I was inspired by the Davis perspective on learning differences.
Brenda is home-based in my practice and is available to travel to clients depending on distance. She is passionate about supporting individuals in a way that honours their unique strengths and ways of thinking, and she is committed to helping learners of all ages reach their full potential.
