Paddy Carson has always been able to see her world from a different perspective. She has the gift of connecting with people—and especially children—in a way that makes them feel appreciated.
When Paddy was told that her son was dyslexic, she was left to feel that this was a "problem."
When Paddy learned that her son was dyslexic, she initially saw it as a 'problem '. However, reading the book The Gift Of Dyslexia was a turning point. It provided her with the key to understanding her son's way of thinking and learning. The book reinforced the benefits of being a 3-Dimensional Visual Thinker. After witnessing the profound changes in her son as he progressed through his correction program, and continued long after its completion, Paddy decided to become a facilitator. She undertook the Davis Dyslexia Correction Program Facilitator Training and became a facilitator in 2003.
Paddy provides the Davis Dyslexia Correction Program, the Davis Young Learner Program, the Davis Math Mastery Program, and the Davis Attention Mastery Program.
Paddy's qualifications and experience in the field of dyslexia correction are extensive. She holds a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood), a Diploma of Teaching (Primary), and a Graduate Certificate in Research Methods. She is also a Licensed Davis Dyslexia Correction Program Facilitator, President of Dyslexia Gifted, and a term board member of the Whole Dyslexic Society.
Paddy works in Edmonton and is willing to travel to clients. She has provided successful programs in Bonnyville, Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Jasper, Regina, Slave Lake, Wainwright, and Yellowknife.

"I really liked working with Miss Paddy. Using the card to block the other letters in a word really helped me to read better. " Amira Age 6
"Going through the steps of the program helped my daughter to finally get an understanding of the alphabet. Working with the concreteness of the clay cleared problems she was having learning it. Miss Paddy was able to get my daughter to a level where her reading really took off, and she started to gain confidence quickly, followed by a succession of reading levels. I don't think she would be at the level she is today if she had not taken the program."

It is easy to thin in pictures! I tried for years to use other people's ways of learning and getting beaten up for years. I tried many different programs. Nothing worked, and I did not think this program would either. It is the first thing that has ever helped me. It has been life-changing!! I am now in university doing computer science, and it has really helped me with my programming.
