I have lived in Rustenburg my entire life, and it is here that my journey — both as a mother and an educator — truly found its purpose.
I began my career teaching at a small school in Tlhabane, where I worked for three years. After that, I spent seven years in the corporate world, gaining valuable life and leadership experience. When my two boys were born and later started school, I decided to be fully present in their lives.
That decision brought me back into education — but this time in a coaching capacity. I became the head chess coach of three primary schools and was later appointed President of Chess in NW Bojanala. Working with children in this way deepened my passion for understanding how they think and learn.
It was during this time that my own son began struggling at school. He was diagnosed with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and Tourette syndrome. As a mother, I felt the weight of those diagnoses deeply. I wanted more than accommodations — I wanted real change for him.
Gifted Children South Africa referred us to Davis Dyslexia Correction in Cape Town. My son completed three Davis programmes with a facilitator in Johannesburg, and the transformation was remarkable. He gained confidence, focus, and tools to manage his learning independently.
He went on to complete his matric without any assistance, achieved a Bachelor’s pass, and was accepted to university.
Watching him overcome what once seemed overwhelming changed my life. I knew then that I wanted to bring this opportunity to other families.
I started my Davis journey in 2015 and qualified as a Davis Facilitator in May 2019. Bringing Davis to Rustenburg has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.
My work is not just professional — it is personal. I understand the fear, frustration, and uncertainty that parents experience because I have walked that road myself. Today, I am committed to helping children, teens, and adults discover their strengths, build confidence, and unlock their true potential.
Davis gave my son his future.
Now, it is my calling to help do the same for others.

A Mother’s Testimonial
My son was diagnosed with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and Tourette syndrome. School was a daily challenge, and as a mother, I felt both concerned and determined to find real help — not just coping strategies, but meaningful change.
He completed three Davis programmes, and the results were remarkable. He gained confidence, control, and understanding of his own learning style. He went on to complete his matric without any assistance, achieved a Bachelor’s pass, and was accepted to university.
Watching him succeed where we were once told he would always struggle changed everything for us.
