My reading improved a lot. It is easier for me to hear and pay attention now. It really helped me with my math, and I discovered that I am artistic!
Brenden
The techniques and methodology I learned helped me immensely! Reading is now fun and relaxing, allowing me to more easily continue my pursuit of knowledge. Thanks to this program, I have graduated from college, obtained a license and practiced as an EMT, written an EMS curriculum for a non-profit, and begun my studies as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
Thank you for everything! With your help and the Davis Program, I have seen more doors open than previously would have seemed possible! Learning is key, but redefining a fear as a gift is empowering.

Growing up I found reading and writing very difficult. It wasn’t until Mrs. Chu gave my parents a book about dyslexia that I understood why. I attended the Davis program where I learned more about dyslexia and about how to deal with it. The tools I learned in the program have helped me immensely and I now love reading and writing. I know that without this program and Mrs. Chu my relationship with school and reading would have been much different. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me.

Hi! I’m Daniel and I’m dyslexic. Mrs. Chu’s program helped me write and spell better and read better, too.

I was a very dyslexic child growing up. It was to the point where I would cry because I couldn’t understand why I wasn’t able to read. My mom sent me to Mrs. Chu. She helped me understand my learning disability and gave me the tools I needed to further my education. Over the years I kept using these tools she had taught me and as a result of hard work I graduated high-school a year early top of my class. I then attended community college free for two years after receiving several scholarships. After the two years I applied for only one university, A&M college station. I received my acceptance letter on March 3rd and will be attending A&M in the fall.
Thank you, for everything you have done for me!! Without your help, I know I wouldn’t be where am I today! I know you had a crucial part in my education.
