I currently work at an international school in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where I teach Science to Year 1 and 2 students and support neurodiverse students from Year 1 to Year 11. I have been teaching in classrooms, small groups, and one-on-one settings since 2010. Having personally struggled in school, I realized many of my students face similar challenges. During the lockdown, I read The Gift of Dyslexia, which led me to discover the Davis program workshop. Inspired by this, I embarked on the journey to become a facilitator, aiming to support students who often fall through the cracks of the educational system.
Throughout my assignments and case studies, I witnessed how the program transformed the learning experiences of both children and adults, not only helping them overcome learning challenges but also boosting their confidence. I look forward to applying everything I’ve learned to help others overcome their difficulties and thrive.
